Sandy Verma

Sandy VermaSandeep Verma (a.k.a.Sandy)- Alumni of IHM, Goa & Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET), London, UK, is the brainchild behind the concept of beverage catering. Sandy is a live wire behind the counter while dispensing most suave cocktails. His mixology is not only creative but exotic too. He entertains tirelessly belting out humour and drinks with equal panache and style. He believes that it’s the bartender who is the soul of every function and thus invented the term “Show Tender”.

 “We want to give customers a reason to choose your bar, stay a little longer, spend a little more money and time and tell all their friends about what a great time they had. Word of mouth, as an advertising tool is very powerful when you have a great work force.” is what Sandy says to his colleagues and students.

To him it is not a profession, but a religion. His in-depth knowledge and expertise has taken him internationally soaking in the experience from places as far and wide as Maldives, Sri Lanka, Zambia, Dubai, Belgrade, Croatia, Monte Negro, Singapore, Malaysia, France, United Kingdom & Scotland. His travels and portfolio within India is par excellence and second to none.

Anuska Illijic

Anuska IlijcYugoslavian born beauty trained by IBOM & working with us for the past five years apart from being a part time model and a trained Yoga Instructor.

She specializes in the Art of Mixolgy & is well known for her test tube shooters.

She is also recognized in the Bartending Circuit for handling pressure & a large number of guests with exemplary art, of guest / customer handling.

She also comes across to guests as an amazing hostess and holds the portfolio of PR Manager and takes care of personality development & grooming workshops for IBOM staff.

Clayton brings his wealth of experience from the JW Marriott’s, Mumbai where he was the Bar – in – Charge. A winner of various national bartending championships and was amongst the top 5 finalists at the BARWIZARDS Bar Challenge and Bar Awards 2006, Clayton has also undergone training in the new age trends of mixology like Molecular Mixology, Health Cocktails etc. Clayton has also been personally trained by world renowned flair bartenders Sandy Verma, Nicolas Saint Jean and Ilias Kousis from Flair Motion, London.

Jacopo Di Lorenzo

JacopoItalian by origin Jacopo brings his wealth from “Patos” Cocktail Bar, Rome Italy where he was the Bar In charge. Jacopo belongs to a distinct class of  bartenders on the Italian Bar Circuit. Jacopo is a live wire behind the bar & his smile melts a million hearts. His passion & creativity can be judged by the lip smacking cocktails he concocts. Jacopo has also been a consultant to various Bars & liquor companies.

Shawn

ShawnShawn started bartending at the age of 17 after completing an F&B craft course at the IHM Goa. A tea totter by nature Shawn was always fascinated by the art of mixing drinks.
Having completed a degree course in Hospitality management at the IIAS School of management, Shawn gained a lot of practical experience over the years, working in establishments like the Marriott, Taj Fort Aguada Beach Resort, Cidade De Goa Beach resort etc.

Shawn then started his own venture Bar Trendz, through which he gained great heights & success in the world of freelance bartending. He then tied up with B’Mann school of bartending merging the two companies & thus forming Bar-Square, the only Bartending School in India which is successfully running 4 branches across the country, with the objective of creating a new professional & passionate breed of world class bartenders in India.

 

Rohan Carvalho aka RON

RonRohan’s tryst with bartending started from Mumbai. He did his professional bartending course at Stir Academy, Mumbai. Rohan polished his practical skills, working with various renowned bars in Mumbai. During his tenure, he was acknowledged for his exceptional talent, which then took him to an extremely well known bar in Hyderabad.

Being an integral part of Bar-Square previously known as B’Mann School of Bartending, Rohan brings prior experience as Instructor in Flair & Mixology at the Institution of Bar Operation and Management (I.B.O.M), New Delhi, where he fine-tuned his bartending skills in Extreme Flair with some of the world’s finest bartenders, Will Lowe and Andy Clarke from Behind Bars, London & Neil Lowrey; the fastest flair bartender in the world from Bar wizards International, London.
