concept of a professional Bartending Institute was visualized by Sandeep Verma (a.k.a.
Sandy), when he recognized the ever growing need for highly skilled bartenders in
the hospitality industry. It took concrete shape by the formation of the "Institute
of Bar Operations & Management" - I.B.O.M. in 2000. From modest
beginnings as pioneers in professional bar tending, I.B.O.M. is now India's premier
bar institute imparting training in wines & spirits, bartending, bar operations,
bar management & flair to bartenders all over India. It is at par with the leading
bar schools all over the world. More than 3000 bartenders have passed out of I.B.O.M.
till date and are enjoying their employment either in India or abroad. The students
have found good jobs in the United States, United Kingdom, Europe, Singapore, Middle
East, India & Cruise Liners to heading bartending companies of their own.
